Bermuda Rum Swizzle Cocktail

A boozy, yet sweet rum punch cocktail that will transport you to the beach and be the life of any party!

Ingredients 

  • 1 oz. dark rum preferably Goslings Black Seal
  • 1 oz. gold rum preferably Goslings Gold Seal
  • 2 oz. orange juice pulp free, not from concentrate
  • 2 oz. pineapple juice not from concentrate
  • 1/4 oz. peach brandy or apricot brandy
  • 1/2 teaspoon grenadine
  • 1 dash angostura bitters
  • Crushed ice
  • Orange slice pineapple wedge, and/or cherry, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Add some crushed ice into a cocktail glass.
  • Pour the dark rum, gold rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, peach brandy, grenadine, and angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker fitted with a lid.
  • Vigorously shake the cocktail shaker for 10 to 15 seconds until it is frothy.
  • Pour the Rum Swizzle through a strainer and into the prepared cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with an orange slice, pineapple wedge, or cherry. Drink and enjoy!

Notes

I use the modern-day method of using a cocktail shaker to yield one glass. Therefore, if you want to make a pitcher of Rum Swizzle, I suggest mixing the ingredients in a pitcher and stirring the cocktail until it gets frothy. Just times the recipe by six or the desired amount to make a big batch recipe.
