Les Jardins d’Eiffel
We stayed at Les Jardins d’Eiffel, a three star hotel that had a great location and view of the Eiffel Tower in selected rooms. Working in the hospitality industry we know how the system works – when you book a hotel room asking for a view it does not mean it is guaranteed, but we got one! We stayed in a privilege room and had a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower! Every night was like the Eiffel Tower singing us a lullaby with its lights sparkling and every morning we woke up starting our day with a beautiful view. (Since we were in Paris during the Euro Cup they had blue, white and red shining on the Eiffel Tower to show support to their nation’s soccer team. We only saw the twinkling lights once for a very short time – still stunning and a unique experience).
In addition to the hotel staff being generous to give us the room we desired they were also attentive with all our needs. They held our luggage before we checked in, gave us great directions to the places we wanted to go, gave us excellent dining options, and were overall a knowledgeable staff. We truly loved the location of Les Jardins d’Eiffel, we were a short, 15 minute walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, 20 minute walk from Champs Elysees and two blocks from the nearest metro that we used everyday to get around the city. Near the hotel were some great pastry shops and restaurants and the location felt more local than touristy, which we prefer.
The room was small compared to hotel rooms in the United States, but it was enough for us to feel comfortable – warm shower and a comfy bed. Our room had free WiFi that was very beneficial and a satellite tv that we barely used. Overall we were very happy with the service and product of Les Jardins d’ Eiffel and highly recommend it.
